「空に星があるように」という懐かしい歌もあるが、今宵の歌は、「So Many Stars」（以下再掲）。私はまだ大学生だった1968年のヒット曲。あの「セルジオ・メンデス／Sérgio Mendes」作曲の1967年のボッサで、「マリリン・バーグマン＆アラン・バーグマン／Marilyn Bergman & Alan Bergman」夫妻が英語詩をつけたもの。「セルジオ・メンデス＆ブラジル’66」のアルバム「Look Around」に収録されている。
